Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) GALATASARAY's Aşır Hayal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aşır Hayal succeeded in the game's 4th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Kuzey Metin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aşır Hayal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ayhan Ergün made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eren Tuğser in the 17th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Batı Ferhat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GALATASARAY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karamürsel JK the free kick. In the 18th match minute, GALATASARAY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Batı Ferhat to maneuver through the defense. Eren Tuğser recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, GALATASARAY's Taner Oker got a free kick in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Karamürsel JK's goal looked a bit too open when Muhittin Mesut came free, but Kuzey Metin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karamürsel JK's Kuzey Metin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Muhittin Mesut in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Taner Oker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Cevahir Seyfeddin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ayhan Ergün was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Muhittin Mesut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Kuzey Metin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cevahir Seyfeddin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ayhan Ergün came out and tried to block the shot, but Cevahir Seyfeddin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 31st minute. The supporters of Karamürsel JK booed when GALATASARAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zülfikar Sargınal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Umut Şahin kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Yağızalp Isfahanlı sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Karamürsel JK's Kuzey Metin didn't even have to move. 45 minutes into the match, Karamürsel JK's goal looked a bit too open when Muhittin Mesut came free, but Kuzey Metin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cevahir Seyfeddin made a kick off. Eren Tuğser scored 2-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ayhan Ergün, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the GALATASARAY defense, Eren Tuğser kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ayhan Ergün. The GALATASARAY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ayhan Ergün should have stopped the shot. In the 60th minute, Karamürsel JK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Muhittin Mesut fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Karamürsel JK getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Umut Şahin hit a great ball. After 63 played minutes, GALATASARAY's Yağızalp Isfahanlı shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kuzey Metin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GALATASARAY reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eren Tuğser in the 66th minute of play forced GALATASARAY's goalkeeper Ayhan Ergün to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karamürsel JK's Kuzey Metin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aşır Hayal in the 73rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Aşır Hayal took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Kuzey Metin to make any attempt to save it. Muhittin Mesut's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kuzey Metin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. A collision led to Karamürsel JK getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Lütfü Urhan hit a great ball. A collision led to GALATASARAY getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Taner Oker hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in GALATASARAY's zone, Cevahir Seyfeddin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ayhan Ergün came out of the goal and Cevahir Seyfeddin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute, Aşır Hayal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 87 minutes, Aras İpek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karamürsel JK and the GALATASARAY players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 87 played minutes Karamürsel JK got a freekick which was hit by Aras İpek. When Aşır Hayal came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the GALATASARAY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aşır Hayal couldn't finish the play. Kuzey Metin made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Aşır Hayal sent off a good shot on target. GALATASARAY's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
