Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sancarbey Değirmencioğlu kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Affan Zevahir during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Erfelek's zone, Erol Can stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aral Tanacan came out of the goal and Erol Can tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erol Can received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Aral Tanacan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 minutes of play, Karpuzlu's Erol Can made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aral Tanacan was left in no man's land by his defense there! 19 minutes into the game, one of Karpuzlu:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Erfelek's Aral Tanacan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erbatur Kutan in the 26th minute of play. Erfelek's Aral Tanacan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Erfelek from getting a goal against them. Sancarbey Değirmencioğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Baturay Özluer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Oğuzalp Ocak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. In the 46th minute, one of Karpuzlu:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Karpuzlu. After the first half Erfelek were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 54th minute, Erfelek's Sancarbey Değirmencioğlu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Erol Can managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karpuzlu's supporters rose to their feet, but Erol Can was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aral Tanacan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Şenol Talayman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Aral Tanacan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Korcan Nuri hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match.
