Asist's Barbaros Sair got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Barbaros Sair struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Ayhan Ergün didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Asist. After a rather tough play, GALATASARAY's Semi Adahan got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute of the match, Aşır Hayal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Can Eryavuz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 35 minutes into the game, Erenay Okatay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aşır Hayal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Asist's Can Eryavuz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Muhittin Mesut in the 51st minute of play. After 52 minutes Asist's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yağızalp Isfahanlı who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on GALATASARAY's corner Yağızalp Isfahanlı fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Can Eryavuz quite easily take care of the ball. Batıhan Kartekin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ayhan Ergün having to make a save. Can Eryavuz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muhittin Mesut in the 57th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Cavit Özgen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ayhan Ergün. That made the score 0-2 in the 59 minute of play. If Barbaros Sair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ayhan Ergün showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barbaros Sair, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Cavit Özgen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Asist's supporters rose to their feet, but Cavit Özgen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ayhan Ergün breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to GALATASARAY getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Taner Oker hit a great ball. After 72 minutes of play, Asist's Barbaros Sair made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ayhan Ergün was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Asist's zone, Muhittin Mesut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Can Eryavuz came out of the goal and Muhittin Mesut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
