Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) GALATASARAY's Aşır Hayal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Rıfkı Polat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emin Özkaya in the 9th minute of play forced GALATASARAY's goalkeeper Ayhan Ergün to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ayvalik FK's Rıfkı Polat got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute, Zülfikar Sargınal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ayhan Ergün showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rıfkı Polat, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. A collision led to GALATASARAY getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Muhittin Mesut hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Rıfkı Polat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ayvalik FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Rıfkı Polat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ayhan Ergün breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 20 played minutes Ayvalik FK got a freekick which was hit by Rıfkı Polat. 24 minutes into the match, Ayvalik FK's goal looked a bit too open when Aşır Hayal came free, but Halil İbrahim Oğuztan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rıfkı Polat took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ayhan Ergün. Ayhan Ergün dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ayhan Ergün showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rıfkı Polat, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Aşır Hayal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Halil İbrahim Oğuztan. That made the score 1-1 in the 32 minute of play. Ayhan Ergün showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emin Özkaya in the 37th minute of the match. Rıfkı Polat took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ayhan Ergün. Ayhan Ergün dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When Ayvalik FK's Rıfkı Polat in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GALATASARAY's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, GALATASARAY's Seyrani Özsahin got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rıfkı Polat was the one to do the kick off. Emin Özkaya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rıfkı Polat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Yüce Safer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Rıfkı Polat managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 64thth minute of the game Aşır Hayal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ayvalik FK's Halil İbrahim Oğuztan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. GALATASARAY's Ayhan Ergün played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rıfkı Polat in the 66th minute of play. The supporters of Ayvalik FK booed when GALATASARAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Semi Adahan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rıfkı Polat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ayhan Ergün having to interfere. If Rıfkı Polat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ayhan Ergün showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yüce Safer, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Ayhan Ergün made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rıfkı Polat in the 85th minute of play. Rıfkı Polat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ayhan Ergün having to interfere. Halil İbrahim Oğuztan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Muhittin Mesut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in GALATASARAY's zone, Rıfkı Polat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ayhan Ergün came out of the goal and Rıfkı Polat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Seyrani Özsahin kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The GALATASARAY fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ayvalik FK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
