Önder Tapgaç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ertan Karaoğlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Doğan Sidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serkan Barın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bektaş Veli Tunçkan having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Ensar Ünsever kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bektaş Veli Tunçkan. That made the score 1-1 in the 28 minute of play. Abdi Saygın Acarer hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Serkan Barın managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kagithane FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Serkan Barın was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bektaş Veli Tunçkan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Doğan Sidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Orhun Beyazit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Şanver Erginsoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, Topkapi SK's goal looked a bit too open when Gürol Demirbaş came free, but Bektaş Veli Tunçkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ertan Karaoğlan to strike the kick off in the second half. Kagithane FC's Orhun Beyazit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ertan Karaoğlan in the 52nd minute of play. After 56 played minutes Kagithane FC got a freekick which was hit by Sarp Aktaş. Keramettin Eskici kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. When Ertan Karaoğlan came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Topkapi SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ertan Karaoğlan couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Topkapi SK booed when Kagithane FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Önder Tapgaç didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68 played minutes Kagithane FC got a freekick which was hit by Keramettin Eskici. Bektaş Veli Tunçkan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Önder Tapgaç's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. In the 78th match minute, Kagithane FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keramettin Eskici to maneuver through the defense. Kagithane FC's Burhan Hekimhanlı managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Okaner Kartekin in the 82 minute of the game. Bektaş Veli Tunçkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Önder Tapgaç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Kagithane FC's Orhun Beyazit got control of the ball when Onur Batüralp tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kagithane FC's Burhan Hekimhanlı quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fatih Rikap, made in the 89th minute of the game. If Serkan Barın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
