When Emrullah Tokuz fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Güngören Gücü F. K's protests and gave Emrullah Tokuz a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of Güngören Gücü F. K:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Topkapi SK:s goal. When the match had been going on for 4 minutes, Topkapi SK's Tacettin Saru got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ali Asım Tezel. An unexpectedly hard shot by kaya Çağa in the 15th minute of play forced Topkapi SK's goalkeeper Bektaş Veli Tunçkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 played minutes Güngören Gücü F. K got a freekick which was hit by Baran Bilge Kirtekin. Güngören Gücü F. K's Ali Asım Tezel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doğan Sidal in the 22nd minute of play. Topkapi SK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yüce İmar ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yüce İmar in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bektaş Veli Tunçkan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Onur Batüralp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ali Asım Tezel was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yüce İmar in the 43rd minute of play forced Topkapi SK's goalkeeper Bektaş Veli Tunçkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

In the 51st minute Abdi Saygın Acarer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Asım Tezel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 63 minutes of play Güngören Gücü F. K's Emrullah Tokuz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 62 minutes into the game, one of Güngören Gücü F. K:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Topkapi SK a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tacettin Saru, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Güngören Gücü F. K's Ali Asım Tezel. 5-1. Yüce İmar made a great header on Güngören Gücü F. K's corner, it was just that Topkapi SK's Bektaş Veli Tunçkan managed to reach the ball for a save. Ali Asım Tezel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ertan Karaoğlan in the 96th minute of the match.
