Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bilge Bozyiğit started the match with the kick off. Özal Usum hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 3rd minute, Mustafa Çağlar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Akdagmadeni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Akdagmadeni's Selçuk Helvacı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oğuzalp Kadrettin in the 11th minute of play. After having played for 12 minutes, Serhat Başel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dogansehir's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serhat Başel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oğuzalp Kadrettin in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Selçuk Helvacı saved Akdagmadeni from getting behind. 19 minutes into the match, Akdagmadeni's goalkeeper Selçuk Helvacı had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serhat Başel. If Serhat Başel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Özal Usum managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dogansehir's supporters rose to their feet, but Özal Usum was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Selçuk Helvacı breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Serhat Başel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Selçuk Helvacı firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 29th play minute Dursun Açıkel came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Selçuk Helvacı. 1-1. Semi Zaik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bilge Bozyiğit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th match minute, Dogansehir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İdris Bürge to maneuver through the defense. After 39 played minutes Akdagmadeni got a freekick which was hit by Bilge Bozyiğit. When Akdagmadeni's Bilge Bozyiğit in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dogansehir's goalie prevented a goal. In the 46th match minute, Akdagmadeni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göksel Secavend to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oğuzalp Kadrettin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Kahraman Ulubek fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Akdagmadeni's protests and gave Kahraman Ulubek a yellow card for diving instead. Kahraman Ulubek hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. In the 51st minute Serhat Başel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Selçuk Helvacı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Dogansehir's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bilge Bozyiğit fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 55 minutes into the match, Akdagmadeni's Kahraman Ulubek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Semi Zaik narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Akdagmadeni's Kahraman Ulubek slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Semi Zaik. That made the score 1-2 after 55 minutes of play. In the 65th minute Oğuzalp Kadrettin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Selçuk Helvacı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th match minute, Akdagmadeni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bilge Bozyiğit to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Seyfi Mithat's late challenge caught a Akdagmadeni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Seyfi Mithat helped the player get up and apologised. After 68 played minutes Dogansehir got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Seyfi Mithat. Dogansehir's Serhat Başel got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Selçuk Helvacı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serhat Başel in the 85th minute of play. After having played for 87 minutes, Özal Usum managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Selçuk Helvacı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özal Usum, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Semi Zaik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bilge Bozyiğit in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute, Ahmet Seyfi Mithat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Akdagmadeni supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Akdagmadeni would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
