Artvin FC's Saadettin Baştugay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birdal Ergüç in the 13th minute of play. When Birdal Ergüç fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kagithane FC's protests and gave Birdal Ergüç a yellow card for diving instead. Mustafa Necati Denizer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Önder Tapgaç in the 20th minute of play forced Artvin FC's goalkeeper Saadettin Baştugay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serkan Barın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Keramettin Eskici helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd match minute, Kagithane FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keramettin Eskici to maneuver through the defense. Mustafa Necati Denizer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orhun Beyazit having to interfere. Birdal Ergüç kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Burhan Hekimhanlı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Mustafa Necati Denizer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Orhun Beyazit having to make a save. Orhun Beyazit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Okan Ergüç, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. If Gürol Demirbaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 69th minute of the match Keramettin Eskici completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Keramettin Eskici a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Keramettin Eskici kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Sertaç Taştan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 71st played minute, shot the ball from way out. Artvin FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sertaç Taştan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orhun Beyazit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orhan Seyfi Aktaç kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
