A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, Bektaş Ali Öktüre notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ümraniye FK's Varol Kamran. Varol Kamran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mustafa Barış Tuğra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Poyraz Oksay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Ümraniye FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Raşit Tunç was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Poyraz Oksay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Salihli's zone, Mustafa Barış Tuğra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Poyraz Oksay came out of the goal and Mustafa Barış Tuğra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Mustafa Namık Elçin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Poyraz Oksay was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Mustafa Namık Elçin might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Poyraz Oksay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Namık Sarif in the 48th minute of play forced Ümraniye FK's goalkeeper Varol Kamran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Salihli were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mustafa Namık Elçin was the one to do the kick off. Ümraniye FK's Mustafa Barış Tuğra got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Salihli's goalkeeper Poyraz Oksay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Ümraniye FK getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Reis Üstam hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ümraniye FK's zone, Mustafa Namık Sarif stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Varol Kamran came out of the goal and Mustafa Namık Sarif tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute Bektaş Ali Öktüre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Varol Kamran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th match minute, Ümraniye FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Necmettin Siraceddin to maneuver through the defense. Olcay Osmanlıoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. When Mustafa Barış Tuğra came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Ümraniye FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mustafa Barış Tuğra couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Mustafa Namık Elçin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Poyraz Oksay was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Necmettin Siraceddin kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. The Ümraniye FK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Salihli's performance. The match ended with a win for Salihli.
