Nazmi Sönmez might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anıl Berk Sonalp. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nazmi Sönmez ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aras Özgulec in the 9th minute of play forced Kütahya's goalkeeper Halit Fahri Rahmi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mustafa Orhan Numan during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Dokuma booed when Kütahya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Orhan Numan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mustafa Orhan Numan struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Anıl Berk Sonalp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kütahya. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Behlül Eryilmaz was the one to do the kick off. In the 74th minute Nazmi Sönmez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anıl Berk Sonalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 75 minutes of play, Kütahya's Behlül Eryilmaz made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anıl Berk Sonalp was left in no man's land by his defense there! Genco Hürsoy hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Onur Ali Demirman's late challenge caught a Kütahya's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Onur Ali Demirman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st minute, Onur Ali Demirman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dokuma's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
