Karkamis's Rahim Okseven tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 9 minutes into the game, Necip Durhal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karkamis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kecierengücü the free kick. A collision led to Karkamis getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Necip Durhal hit a great ball. If Kürşat Ertaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fikri Yıldızhan kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Vural Şahinalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baykal Sayraç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Kecierengücü's Reis Yay in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Karkamis's goalie prevented a goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aytaç Ergüç to strike the kick off in the second half. Vural Şahinalp made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Baykal Sayraç sent off a good shot on target. Rahim Okseven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kürşat Ertaş in the 57th minute of play. If Kürşat Ertaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sezen Uluhan fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karkamis's protests and gave Sezen Uluhan a yellow card for diving instead. Sezen Uluhan kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kürşat Ertaş in the 64th minute of play forced Karkamis's goalkeeper Rahim Okseven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute Kürşat Ertaş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rahim Okseven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Karkamis's Vural Şahinalp threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aytaç Ergüç, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
