The audience was convinced that Gürkan Akbilge's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Talat Akbaba was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Özal Afşaroğlu scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ahmet Ziya Eryetiş, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adnan Kayıhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Talat Akbaba having to interfere. Gürkan Akbilge scored 2-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Talat Akbaba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes in the game, Habib Vural fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Talat Akbaba having to interfere. In the 26th minute Erberk Çubukcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Ziya Eryetiş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Mazhar Tandoğdu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The hatay FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 33rd match minute, FC BOZKURT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ertan Tüzünalp to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Erberk Çubukcu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC BOZKURT's Ertan Tüzünalp shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 39th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Talat Akbaba but with some difficulty. hatay FK's Talat Akbaba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save hatay FK from getting a goal against them. Erberk Çubukcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erberk Çubukcu was the one to do the kick off. Ahmet Ziya Eryetiş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, FC BOZKURT's Ahmet Ziya Eryetiş got control of the ball when Mazhar Tandoğdu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, FC BOZKURT's goal looked a bit too open when Necip Fazıl Mengüalp came free, but Ahmet Ziya Eryetiş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC BOZKURT's Ertan Tüzünalp got a free kick in the 55th minute. When Sait Pekol came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the hatay FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sait Pekol couldn't finish the play. FC BOZKURT's Ahmet Ziya Eryetiş proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save FC BOZKURT from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gürkan Akbilge in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Talat Akbaba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC BOZKURT's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Erberk Çubukcu scored to the left of an out of position Ahmet Ziya Eryetiş, making the score, 2-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Erberk Çubukcu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ahmet Ziya Eryetiş. That made the score 2-4 in the 67 minute of play. If Habib Vural had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, FC BOZKURT's goalkeeper Ahmet Ziya Eryetiş had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Necip Fazıl Mengüalp. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mazhar Tandoğdu got free with Ahmet Ziya Eryetiş in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The hatay FK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing hatay FK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
