Temel Acabay charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Temel Acabay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 7 played minutes Cemberlitas FK got a freekick which was hit by Temel Acabay. An unexpectedly hard shot by Demircan Haktanır in the 14th minute of play forced hatay FK's goalkeeper Talat Akbaba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Mazhar Tandoğdu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. hatay FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mazhar Tandoğdu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cemberlitas FK's zone, Mazhar Tandoğdu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafa Hakan Taykut came out of the goal and Mazhar Tandoğdu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When hatay FK's Erberk Çubukcu in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Cemberlitas FK's Temel Acabay got a free kick in the 38th minute. If Demircan Haktanır had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 51st minute, Batuğ Zeynur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Batuğ Zeynur fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cemberlitas FK's protests and gave Batuğ Zeynur a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd match minute, Cemberlitas FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Batuğ Zeynur to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the match, Cemberlitas FK's goal looked a bit too open when Erberk Çubukcu came free, but Mustafa Hakan Taykut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
