Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the game, Celalettin Pirane was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mersin İdman Yurdu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Korgun JK the free kick. In the 3rd match minute, Mersin İdman Yurdu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celalettin Pirane to maneuver through the defense. Ali Kaan Kamver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fazlı Beşer in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Levent Sadan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mersin İdman Yurdu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Levent Sadan came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Mersin İdman Yurdu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Levent Sadan couldn't finish the play. In the 14th match minute, Mersin İdman Yurdu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kıraç Rikap to maneuver through the defense. Korgun JK's Resulhan Tenzil couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 15th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mersin İdman Yurdu. Ali Kaan Kamver stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fazlı Beşer's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. When %teams%'s Fazlı Beşer was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-1 just inside the left pole, 22 minutes into the game. Ali Kaan Kamver was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. 25 minutes into the match, Şinasi Hıfzullah notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Mersin İdman Yurdu's Ali Kaan Kamver. Ali Kaan Kamver was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fazlı Beşer in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Kaan Kamver saved Mersin İdman Yurdu from getting behind. Reşat Zikri came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Mersin İdman Yurdu's Levent Sadan. But to his dismay, Levent Sadan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After 41 minutes of play, Mersin İdman Yurdu's Erim Sarphan made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reşat Zikri was left in no man's land by his defense there! Levent Sadan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reşat Zikri having to interfere. After the first half Mersin İdman Yurdu were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a rather tough play, Korgun JK's Hüsrev Baliç got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Ali Kaan Kamver showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şinasi Hıfzullah, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The supporters of Korgun JK booed when Mersin İdman Yurdu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kıraç Rikap didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmet Hakan Başel kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Reşat Zikri made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Levent Sadan sent off a good shot on target. 71 minutes into the match, Korgun JK's goal looked a bit too open when Kıraç Rikap came free, but Reşat Zikri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yılmaz Açar hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Fazlı Beşer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Korgun JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Fazlı Beşer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Kaan Kamver breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Korgun JK's Şinasi Hıfzullah in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mersin İdman Yurdu's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fazlı Beşer in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ali Kaan Kamver prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 83 minutes, Şahin Ağaverdi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mersin İdman Yurdu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şahin Ağaverdi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erim Sarphan in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reşat Zikri saved Korgun JK from getting behind. If Şinasi Hıfzullah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fazlı Beşer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Kaan Kamver having to interfere. Erim Sarphan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Reşat Zikri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mersin İdman Yurdu had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
