In the 33rd minute, Mersin İdman Yurdu's Kıraç Rikap dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Mustafa Necati Mehdi got his second yellow card in the match during the 37th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Levent Sadan was the one to do the kick off. Ataol Sarıoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Levent Sadan in the 64th minute of the match. Levent Sadan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ataol Sarıoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Fevzi Eskioğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Levent Sadan in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ataol Sarıoğlu saved Gülsehir from getting behind. Erim Sarphan might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ataol Sarıoğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erim Sarphan ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 97th minute, Levent Sadan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mersin İdman Yurdu had played much better football throughout.
