Beşiktaş's Mehmet Anıl Sayhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Faruk Tuncaral in the 16th minute of play. Karahan Başsoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the game, Ali Faruk Tuncaral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sefaköy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beşiktaş the free kick. After 19 played minutes Sefaköy got a freekick which was hit by Ali Faruk Tuncaral. Beşiktaş's Karahan Başsoy managed to work through Sefaköy's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Karahan Başsoy dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Mehmet Anıl Sayhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Onuralp Turay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mehmet Anıl Sayhan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Çakır Aktekin went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Aygün Şanlı hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Beşiktaş's goal looked a bit too open when Çakır Aktekin came free, but Mehmet Anıl Sayhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sefaköy's Ali Faruk Tuncaral got a free kick in the 35th minute. Ahmet Sedat Regaip made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hurşit Ayana in the 40th minute of play. Aktan Halıcı kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After 43 played minutes Beşiktaş got a freekick which was hit by Yetkin Uğurlubey. The crowd rose to their feet as Beşiktaş's Hurşit Ayana slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ahmet Sedat Regaip. That made the score 1-1 after 48 minutes of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karahan Başsoy to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doğaner Sayın in the 54th minute of play forced Sefaköy's goalkeeper Ahmet Sedat Regaip to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aktan Halıcı charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aktan Halıcı the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aktan Halıcı hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. If Çakır Aktekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Anıl Sayhan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ömür Cabir in the 58th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Sefaköy's Ömür Cabir slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mehmet Anıl Sayhan. That made the score 1-2 after 59 minutes of play. Burhan Özmut charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Burhan Özmut the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Sefaköy's zone, Hurşit Ayana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Sedat Regaip came out of the goal and Hurşit Ayana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Burç Okaner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Mehmet Anıl Sayhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mehmet Anıl Sayhan made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Çelik Karhan sent off a good shot on target. Tansel Özbir's late challenge caught a Beşiktaş's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tansel Özbir helped the player get up and apologised. Tansel Özbir kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Beşiktaş's Mehmet Anıl Sayhan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Beşiktaş from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karahan Başsoy in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet Sedat Regaip saved Sefaköy from getting behind. After some careless play in the Sefaköy defense, Karahan Başsoy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet Sedat Regaip. The Sefaköy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Sedat Regaip should have stopped the shot. Sefaköy's Ahmet Sedat Regaip played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karahan Başsoy in the 88th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferman İleri in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Sedat Regaip prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 94th minute Çakır Aktekin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Anıl Sayhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Çakır Aktekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Mehmet Anıl Sayhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Sefaköy players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Beşiktaş from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
