The referee ignored Ayvacik's protests and gave Muhsin Akpınar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th minute Sufi Özilhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Selami As saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Myasnikov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Şahin Gagauz came out and tried to block the shot, but David Myasnikov slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. Gökmen Şafak's late challenge caught a Ayvacik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gökmen Şafak helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th match minute, Göldere FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gökmen Şafak to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Ayvacik getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Fevzi Şükür hit a great ball. David Myasnikov might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Şahin Gagauz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. David Myasnikov ran back to his position shaking his head. After 93 minutes, Hıncal Cihanmert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Göldere FK and the Ayvacik players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Hıncal Cihanmert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Battal Gazi Alatay during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 95 played minutes Göldere FK got a freekick which was hit by Battal Gazi Alatay. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ayvacik fans cheered their team off the field, for while Göldere FK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
