Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Melikgazi's goal looked a bit too open when Mete Bayazid came free, but Seyit Yiğithan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th minute of the match, Ahmet Turan Tumbay tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Göktuğ Özek saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Göktuğ Özek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fadıl Avcı in the 22nd minute. Göktuğ Özek made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Fadıl Avcı sent off a good shot on target. Orhun Yarlık hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mete Bayazid in the 26th minute of play forced Melikgazi's goalkeeper Seyit Yiğithan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Göktuğ Özek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fadıl Avcı, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mete Bayazid during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Melikgazi booed when Sahinbey was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mete Bayazid didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Melikgazi were the better team. Melikgazi's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
