Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kai Jønlev in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vahdet Akçan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Teo Neto fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talay SK's protests and gave Teo Neto a yellow card for diving instead. Teo Neto hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nadir Namık made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, César Oviedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
