Without hesitation aimed to the right of Seyit Yiğithan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Arda Baybars Raşit came out of the goal and Ahmet Turan Tumbay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. But to his dismay, Metehan Öktemer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Fadıl Avcı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Arda Baybars Raşit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th match minute, Malatyaspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ataol Ulunay to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Turan Tumbay struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Arda Baybars Raşit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Melikgazi. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fadıl Avcı was the one to do the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Metehan Öktemer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Melikgazi's Seyit Yiğithan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Bora Esenboğa notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Melikgazi's Seyit Yiğithan. Seyit Yiğithan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Melikgazi's supporters rose to their feet, but Fadıl Avcı was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arda Baybars Raşit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Seyit Yiğithan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Metehan Öktemer in the 97th minute of the match.
