Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fadıl Avcı kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Turan Tumbay in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Garip Hepyener saved Catalpinar from getting behind. Garip Hepyener made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fadıl Avcı in the 20th minute of play. Fadıl Avcı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garip Hepyener having to interfere. Fadıl Avcıs short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Garip Hepyener to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Melikgazi getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Kaptan Boran hit a great ball. Seyit Yiğithan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bilge Hiçsönmez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fadıl Avcı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Melikgazi's Ahmet Turan Tumbay in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Ahmet Turan Tumbay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Melikgazi's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Turan Tumbay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Garip Hepyener breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bilge Hiçsönmez to make the kick off. In the 55thth minute of the game Ahmet Turan Tumbay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Catalpinar's Garip Hepyener was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Catalpinar's Garip Hepyener played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Turan Tumbay in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Catalpinar's Bayezit Vezir got a free kick in the 80th minute. A collision led to Catalpinar getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Bilge Hiçsönmez hit a great ball. Fadıl Avcı might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Garip Hepyener. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fadıl Avcı ran back to his position shaking his head. Fadıl Avcı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
