The audience thought a goal was coming when Rene Arnau got free with Aykutalp Yaşer in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Bektaş Özgen managed to get in a good position for a shot. VeRiMbAsPoR's supporters rose to their feet, but Bektaş Özgen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aykutalp Yaşer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 13 minutes, Erim Sefik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Daito-Katana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erim Sefik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daito-Katana's Aykutalp Yaşer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Daito-Katana from getting a goal against them. Rene Arnau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boran Payam in the 21st minute of play forced Daito-Katana's goalkeeper Aykutalp Yaşer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rene Arnau's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aykutalp Yaşer firmly grabbed it by the left post. 23 minutes into the match, Boran Payam had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aykutalp Yaşer. Daito-Katana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Boran Payam was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Boran Payam's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aykutalp Yaşer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. VeRiMbAsPoR's Cemil Gürler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erim Sefik in the 28th minute of play. Aykutalp Yaşer was a little too slow when Bektaş Özgen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 2-0. 32 minutes into the match, Daito-Katana's goal looked a bit too open when Bektaş Özgen came free, but Aykutalp Yaşer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rene Arnau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Aykutalp Yaşer made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erim Sefik in the 44th minute of play forced VeRiMbAsPoR's goalkeeper Cemil Gürler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Rene Arnau made the kick off in the second half. If Kamil Yelmen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the match, VeRiMbAsPoR's goalkeeper Cemil Gürler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kamil Yelmen. In the 57th minute, Rene Arnau left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VeRiMbAsPoR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. When Rene Arnau came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the VeRiMbAsPoR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rene Arnau couldn't finish the play. 63 minutes into the match, VeRiMbAsPoR's Şamil Çağili sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aykutalp Yaşer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With 65 minutes on the clock, Yalçın Egin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 66 minutes of play, Daito-Katana's Kamil Yelmen made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cemil Gürler was left in no man's land by his defense there!
