The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. A collision led to Adakli getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Erim Nedim hit a great ball. Mümtazer Çelikoz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asaf Tüzüner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Asaf Tüzüner to make the kick off.
