The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of Serinhisar:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Birlergencligi:s goal. 7 minutes into the game, Birlergencligi's Rahman Tekinalp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hasan Muammer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Songurbey Özhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 17 minutes of play, Birlergencligi's Rahman Tekinalp made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hasan Muammer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hasan Muammer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rahman Tekinalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Rahman Tekinalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 21 minutes into the match, Serinhisar's goal looked a bit too open when Rahman Tekinalp came free, but Hasan Muammer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rahman Tekinalp hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the game, Sermet Mübarek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Serinhisar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Birlergencligi the free kick. A collision led to Serinhisar getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Sermet Mübarek hit a great ball. Paşa Heper charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paşa Heper the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 30 played minutes Serinhisar got a freekick which was hit by Paşa Heper. Rahman Tekinalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 35 played minutes Birlergencligi got a freekick which was hit by Tolgahan Şenel. 43 minutes into the game, İzzet Taze cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Gaffar Erşahin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Serinhisar players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Birlergencligi were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Songurbey Özhan to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Rahman Tekinalp put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Hasan Muammer. After 59 minutes, Anıl Ozan Talip mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Serinhisar and the Birlergencligi players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Birlergencligi booed when Serinhisar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anıl Ozan Talip didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Birlergencligi's Metehan Tekiner got a free kick in the 64th minute. The audience was convinced that İzzet Taze's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaffar Erşahin was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. The supporters of Serinhisar booed when Birlergencligi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Orhan Ekşioğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Birlergencligi were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Serinhisar's much stronger midfield.
