The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Ilica's Reha Türcan got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Rahman Tekinalp kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Rıdvan Candar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Birlergencligi booed when Ilica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferhan İshak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Devlet Temizkan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Metehan Tekiner, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Aytuğ Kose fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rahman Tekinalp in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Devlet Temizkan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 22 minutes into the game, Aysan Köken was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Birlergencligi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ilica the free kick. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Birlergencligi! Rahman Tekinalp struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Devlet Temizkan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Birlergencligi. Devlet Temizkan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rahman Tekinalp in the 28th minute. If Rahman Tekinalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rahman Tekinalp got free with Devlet Temizkan in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 39 played minutes Ilica got a freekick which was hit by Ferhan İshak. Devlet Temizkan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rahman Tekinalp in the 41st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ferhan İshak during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 42 played minutes Ilica got a freekick which was hit by Ferhan İshak. 47 minutes into the match, Ilica's goal looked a bit too open when Metehan Tekiner came free, but Devlet Temizkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Asaf Tüzüner to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Birlergencligi's Rahman Tekinalp got a free kick in the 51st minute. Metehan Tekiner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferhan İshak hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. When Birlergencligi's Rahman Tekinalp in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ilica's goalie prevented a goal. If Metehan Tekiner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Ilica's Özgün Uzalp got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 64thth minute of the game Rahman Tekinalp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ilica's Devlet Temizkan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Ilica getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Asaf Tüzüner hit a great ball. After 79 played minutes Birlergencligi got a freekick which was hit by Tolgahan Şenel. If Rahman Tekinalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferhan İshak hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Rahman Tekinalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Asaf Tüzüner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaffar Erşahin having to interfere. Devlet Temizkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rahman Tekinalp in the 93rd minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Birlergencligi had played much better football throughout.
