After 6 minutes of play, Besiri JK's Ahmet Fikret Refet made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aydemir Nefer was left in no man's land by his defense there! 12 minutes into the game, Ergani's Babür Özbek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mahir Eskici made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ahmet Fikret Refet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aydemir Nefer having to interfere. In the 19th minute, one of Ergani:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ergani. The goalkeeper, Aydemir Nefer, was totally fooled by Besiri JK's Kılıçhan Taşboğa, who 20 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mete Sahat during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mete Sahat hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Aydemir Nefer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Fikret Refet in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Babür Özbek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hakkı Onur Durusoy in the 36th minute of play forced Ergani's goalkeeper Aydemir Nefer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 minutes, İlyas Tolga Sağun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Besiri JK and the Ergani players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 40 played minutes Besiri JK got a freekick which was hit by İlyas Tolga Sağun. Babür Özbek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Köksal Tankan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Besiri JK's Kılıçhan Taşboğa got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Babür Özbek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Ergani's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Fikret Refet came free, but Aydemir Nefer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ergani's Aydemir Nefer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Fikret Refet in the 71st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdulvahit Onurkan got free with Mahir Eskici in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ahmet Fikret Refet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, Ahmet Fikret Refet notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Ergani's Aydemir Nefer. Aydemir Nefer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ergani players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Besiri JK.
