Diriliş Trabzonspor's Deniz Aköz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Diriliş Trabzonspor from getting a goal against them. Ferid Cengel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deniz Aköz having to interfere. Çağrı Yürükoğlu came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Deniz Aköz could save by the left post. The audience was convinced that Giray Ongay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Deniz Aköz was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. The referee felt a red card was in order, 23 minutes into the game, when Ahmet Fikret Üstay put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Diriliş Trabzonspor:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ankara Gençlik ve Spor:s goal. Diriliş Trabzonspor:s Deniz Aköz showed great skill when he stopped Tarkan Tarkan:s penalty. With a little luck, Diriliş Trabzonspor's Deniz Aköz got control of the ball when Çağrı Yürükoğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Osman Ali Hünkar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Nurkan Haylaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diriliş Trabzonspor's Deniz Aköz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giray Ongay in the 32nd minute of play. In the 38th minute, Ankara Gençlik ve Spor's Giray Ongay ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Deniz Aköz. Deniz Aköz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 40th minute, Giray Ongay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Deniz Aköz came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Ankara Gençlik ve Spor's Giray Ongay. But to his dismay, Giray Ongay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 45 minutes into the match, Diriliş Trabzonspor's goalkeeper Deniz Aköz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Çağrı Yürükoğlu. Deniz Aköz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Giray Ongay's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Osman Ali Hünkar hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. When Ankara Gençlik ve Spor's Giray Ongay in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Diriliş Trabzonspor's goalie prevented a goal. Çağrı Yürükoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Gafur Yarlık charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 70 minutes of play, Ankara Gençlik ve Spor's Çağrı Yürükoğlu made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Deniz Aköz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Afşin Ongen took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Deniz Aköz. Deniz Aköz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 77th minute Çağrı Yürükoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Deniz Aköz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deniz Aköz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giray Ongay, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After having played for 85 minutes, Afşin Ongen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ankara Gençlik ve Spor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afşin Ongen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Deniz Aköz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afşin Ongen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Diriliş Trabzonspor getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Osman Ali Hünkar hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Giray Ongay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gafur Yarlık recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ankara Gençlik ve Spor walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
