If Arif Gaffar Türel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Gökalp Akdağ stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Duran Özerol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Emre Piruz having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Enginsu Serim kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mustafa Emre Piruz. That made the score 1-3 in the 54 minute of play. Kılıçalp Durcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birol Revha in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Duran Özerol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Enginsu Serim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Antwerp City SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Enginsu Serim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mustafa Emre Piruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mustafa Emre Piruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enginsu Serim in the 69th minute of play. Antwerp City SK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
