An unexpectedly hard shot by Nafiz Sümeroğlu in the 8th minute of play forced Piraziz's goalkeeper Karadeniz Geçimoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cemal Geylanoğullarından made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Kamer Kökten sent off a good shot on target. İsmail Cem Kutertan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karadeniz Geçimoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İsmail Cem Kutertan in the 13th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Eregli JK defense, Ahmet İren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cemal Geylanoğullarından. The Eregli JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cemal Geylanoğullarından should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Eregli JK booed when Piraziz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet İren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Piraziz's Karadeniz Geçimoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nafiz Sümeroğlu in the 22nd minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Asrın Kutam was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eregli JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piraziz the free kick. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Eregli JK! Kılıçhan Tuğrul shot the penalty kick right outside the post. When İsmail Cem Kutertan fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eregli JK's protests and gave İsmail Cem Kutertan a yellow card for diving instead. İsmail Cem Kutertan hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 43rd match minute, Eregli JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gökberk Kutsal to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmet İren made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Eregli JK got a freekick which was hit by Kerimhan Oncubay. 53 minutes into the match, Eregli JK's goal looked a bit too open when Kamer Kökten came free, but Cemal Geylanoğullarından reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cemal Geylanoğullarından showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet İren, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Ahmet İren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cemal Geylanoğullarından having to make a save. 57 minutes into the game, Nafiz Sümeroğlu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Karadeniz Geçimoğlu. Nafiz Sümeroğlu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After 63 minutes, Çakır Balcan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eregli JK and the Piraziz players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Piraziz's Arif Ozan Demirel got a free kick in the 66th minute. İsmail Cem Kutertan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Karadeniz Geçimoğlu made a huge save. Ahmet İren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. İsmail Cem Kutertan kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Ahmet İren might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cemal Geylanoğullarından. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet İren ran back to his position shaking his head. Cemal Geylanoğullarından took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet İren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Piraziz booed when Eregli JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cihat Özkent didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Piraziz's goalkeeper Karadeniz Geçimoğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by İsmail Cem Kutertan. In the 87th minute, Hayri Abide got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Eregli JK's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet İren came free, but Cemal Geylanoğullarından reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cemal Geylanoğullarından made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet İren in the 90th minute of play. The supporters of Piraziz booed when Eregli JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cihat Özkent didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Ahmet İren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piraziz's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet İren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 97th minute, when Eregli JK's Cihat Özkent after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Karadeniz Geçimoğlu in Piraziz's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
