Spectators: 7419 (Terracing: 5602, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gökhun Yetkiner took the kick off in the first half of the match. Göktürk Ülmen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Gökhun Yetkiner notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Merzifon's Baybars Urangu. Baybars Urangu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 16 minutes, Gökhun Yetkiner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guguk Kuşu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gökhun Yetkiner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baybars Urangu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 25th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ahmet Seyfi Mete. Guguk Kuşu's Yılmaz Talayman quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Karhan Şanalp, made in the 27th minute of the game. Bican Baytüze charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bican Baytüze the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bican Baytüze kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. When Gökhun Yetkiner came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Guguk Kuşu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gökhun Yetkiner couldn't finish the play. After 35 played minutes Merzifon got a freekick which was hit by Gencer Şensal. Yılmaz Talayman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Baybars Urangu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Merzifon's goalkeeper Baybars Urangu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 43rdth minute of the game Gökhun Yetkiner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merzifon's Baybars Urangu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Guguk Kuşu getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Bican Baytüze hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, Merzifon's Karhan Şanalp broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Melih Cevdet Tuğaltan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gökhun Yetkiner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Baybars Urangu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baybars Urangu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gökhun Yetkiner in the 59th minute of the match. Seyfi Ziverbey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 64 played minutes, Guguk Kuşu's Tan Özdeğer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Baybars Urangu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guguk Kuşu reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gökhun Yetkiner in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baybars Urangu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 65th minute, Gencer Şensal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute of the match Ahmet Seyfi Mete shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baybars Urangu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Baybars Urangu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gökhun Yetkiner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute, Göktürk Ülmen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Guguk Kuşu's Gökhun Yetkiner in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Merzifon's goalie prevented a goal. Baybars Urangu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gökhun Yetkiner went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 83rdth minute of the game Gökhun Yetkiner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merzifon's Baybars Urangu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Gökhun Yetkiner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Yılmaz Talayman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Baybars Urangu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guguk Kuşu's Gökhun Yetkiner got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, Merzifon's goal looked a bit too open when Yılmaz Talayman came free, but Baybars Urangu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Gökhun Yetkiner made a precise shot to the right of Baybars Urangu. Merzifon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0.
