Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rıfkı Açar got the match started through his kick off. Zafer Tavil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rıfkı Açar's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. In the 14th minute Rıfkı Açar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zafer Tavil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Pütürge's Rıfkı Açar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 23rd match minute, Pütürge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rıfkı Açar to maneuver through the defense. Albano Depsch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Turan Akdemir having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Pertevniyal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ceyhan Demirdelen to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Pertevniyal's goal looked a bit too open when Behzat Cebeci came free, but Zafer Tavil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Behzat Cebeci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Turan Akdemir came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Pertevniyal's Albano Depsch. But to his dismay, Albano Depsch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 44th match minute, Pertevniyal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albano Depsch to maneuver through the defense. When Albano Depsch came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Pertevniyal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albano Depsch couldn't finish the play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enrico Iacovone to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Rıfkı Açar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zafer Tavil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rıfkı Açar went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jörn Offendahl during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 64 played minutes, Pütürge's Behzat Cebeci shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zafer Tavil came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pütürge reached it. When Rıfkı Açar came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Pütürge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rıfkı Açar couldn't finish the play. Pütürge's Behzat Cebeci got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Nélson Travassos fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pertevniyal's protests and gave Nélson Travassos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th minute, Nélson Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Pütürge's Behzat Cebeci in action when he in the 76th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Pertevniyal's Zafer Tavil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rıfkı Açar in the 81st minute of play. Nélson Travassos lost his temper 86 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of Pütürge booed when Pertevniyal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nélson Travassos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Behzat Cebeci had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zafer Tavil. Pertevniyal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Behzat Cebeci was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. There was no doubt that Pütürge were the better team. Pütürge's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
