Spectators: 7456 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gökhun Yetkiner kicked off to start the match. 8 minutes into the match, Ali Orhan İhtişam notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Guguk Kuşu's Cevdet Özsungur. Yılmaz Talayman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gökhun Yetkiner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Güralp Balcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cevdet Özsungur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Burak Yağızkan in the 32nd minute of play. Ahmet Nedim Okkan took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cevdet Özsungur. Cevdet Özsungur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. If Yılmaz Talayman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Ahmet Nedim Okkan made a precise shot to the right of Cevdet Özsungur. Guguk Kuşu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. After 43 minutes of play, GALATASARAY SK's Ali Orhan İhtişam made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cevdet Özsungur was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guguk Kuşu's goalkeeper Cevdet Özsungur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 3-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ali Orhan İhtişam to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mümin Yağızer got free with Cevdet Özsungur in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seyfi Ziverbey in the 57th minute of play forced GALATASARAY SK's goalkeeper Güralp Balcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arif Burak Yağızkan got free with Cevdet Özsungur in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ali Orhan İhtişam received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cevdet Özsungur came out and tried to block the shot, but Ali Orhan İhtişam slotted it home off the left post making it 3-5 in the 69th minute. Cevdet Özsungur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arif Burak Yağızkan went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-6 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Ali Orhan İhtişam kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cevdet Özsungur. That made the score 3-7 in the 76 minute of play. Mümin Yağızer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Guguk Kuşu getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Özbek Akyol hit a great ball. Cevdet Özsungur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Orhan İhtişam in the 93rd minute of play. Ahmet Nedim Okkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match was over GALATASARAY SK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Guguk Kuşu throughout the match.
