Raşit Veziroğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rüknettin Ciray in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to AYYILDIZ SK getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Arif Ozan Türkdoğan hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Rüknettin Ciray managed to get in a good position for a shot. KocaeLiSPoR's supporters rose to their feet, but Rüknettin Ciray was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raşit Veziroğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of KocaeLiSPoR booed when AYYILDIZ SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Turabi Yağızhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute Berkan Timurkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raşit Veziroğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Giray Umurbay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Raşit Veziroğlu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kristian Norberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the AYYILDIZ SK defense, Berkan Timurkan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raşit Veziroğlu. The AYYILDIZ SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raşit Veziroğlu should have stopped the shot. Raşit Veziroğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aktaç Tandoruk, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 34th minute, Arif Ozan Türkdoğan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kristian Norberg struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Deniz Çavlı didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AYYILDIZ SK. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rüknettin Ciray to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in AYYILDIZ SK's zone, Rüknettin Ciray stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raşit Veziroğlu came out of the goal and Rüknettin Ciray tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arif Ozan Türkdoğan kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. KocaeLiSPoR's Rüknettin Ciray got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 59 minutes into the game, AYYILDIZ SK's Kristian Norberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Deniz Çavlı made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 67th minute Giray Umurbay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raşit Veziroğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kristian Norberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Deniz Çavlı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, KocaeLiSPoR's Berkan Timurkan got a free kick in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rüknettin Ciray in the 73rd minute of play forced AYYILDIZ SK's goalkeeper Raşit Veziroğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute Rüknettin Ciray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raşit Veziroğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
