In the 21st minute, Evald Varblane got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the game, Ali Hamza Özhan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cevdet Özsungur. Balikesir's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.
