Spectators: 7463 (Terracing: 5635, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 100) Gökhun Yetkiner started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cevdet Özsungur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Post in the 3rd minute of play. The supporters of Şimşek booed when Guguk Kuşu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tan Özdeğer didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Kerimhan Ulubaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Gabriel Post hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nazım Zorlu charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nazım Zorlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nazım Zorlu hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. When János Neumann came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Guguk Kuşu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that János Neumann couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Post in the 35th minute of play forced Guguk Kuşu's goalkeeper Cevdet Özsungur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

In the 52nd minute, Alvar Haström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 57th match minute, Guguk Kuşu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Seyfi Mete to maneuver through the defense. Seyfi Ziverbey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartlomiej Borowski having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Seyfi Ziverbey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute, Nazım Zorlu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Şimşek fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Guguk Kuşu's Cevdet Özsungur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Guguk Kuşu from getting a goal against them. 0-3 became the score in the 86th minute when Kerimhan Ulubaş elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 88th minute, İlhami Haspolatlı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Şimşek's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
