In the 4th minute there was a penalty for Pütürge. Behzat Cebeci stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Göktan Ehil. 0-1. After 8 minutes, Rıfkı Açar made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. GENÇLER SK's Göktan Ehil tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 15 minutes into the game, Pütürge's Rıfkı Açar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Göktan Ehil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Göktan Ehil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rıfkı Açar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Göktan Ehil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rıfkı Açar, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rıfkı Açar in the 23rd minute of play forced GENÇLER SK's goalkeeper Göktan Ehil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute Rıfkı Açar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göktan Ehil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rıfkı Açar struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Göktan Ehil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pütürge. 31 minutes into the game, Pütürge's Rıfkı Açar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Göktan Ehil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Rıfkı Açar put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Göktan Ehil. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rıfkı Açar in the 37th minute of play forced GENÇLER SK's goalkeeper Göktan Ehil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pütürge's zone, Aktaç Mustafali stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Turan Akdemir came out of the goal and Aktaç Mustafali tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd match minute, Pütürge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atabey Babür to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 46 minutes, Behzat Cebeci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pütürge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Behzat Cebeci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Göktan Ehil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rıfkı Açar in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tuğrul Çağan to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Pütürge's Rıfkı Açar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Rıfkı Açar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rıfkı Açar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göktan Ehil having to interfere. Rıfkı Açar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Göktan Ehil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, GENÇLER SK's goal looked a bit too open when Rıfkı Açar came free, but Göktan Ehil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Göktan Ehil was a little too slow when Rıfkı Açar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 0-8. The supporters of GENÇLER SK booed when Pütürge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atabey Babür didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, GENÇLER SK's Tuğrul Çağan got a free kick in the 70th minute. Pütürge's Rıfkı Açar got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Göktan Ehil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Behzat Cebeci's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. In the 76th minute, Rıfkı Açar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pütürge fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. 79 minutes into the game, Atabey Babür lined in a short shot 0-10 behind a frustrated Göktan Ehil. In the 83rd minute of the match, Rıfkı Açar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Göktan Ehil saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Göktan Ehil was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Behzat Cebeci capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Behzat Cebeci really showed his touch with that goal: 0-11. Batuhan Mahşer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the GENÇLER SK defense, Rıfkı Açar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Göktan Ehil. The GENÇLER SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Göktan Ehil should have stopped the shot. Pütürge's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
