Spectators: 7472 (Terracing: 5605, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) Raşit Veziroğlu came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Merzifon's Gencer Şensal. But to his dismay, Gencer Şensal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gencer Şensal in the 7th minute of play forced AYYILDIZ SK's goalkeeper Raşit Veziroğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kristian Norberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baybars Urangu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Kristian Norberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Baybars Urangu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orhan Yıldırımtürk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gencer Şensal fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Merzifon's protests and gave Gencer Şensal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th match minute, Merzifon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gencer Şensal to maneuver through the defense. If Kristian Norberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kristian Norberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, AYYILDIZ SK's goal looked a bit too open when Çakır Bengisoy came free, but Raşit Veziroğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kristian Norberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baybars Urangu having to interfere. In the 34th minute Kristian Norberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baybars Urangu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Merzifon's Baybars Urangu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristian Norberg in the 37th minute of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Arif Ozan Türkdoğan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AYYILDIZ SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arif Ozan Türkdoğan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 40 minutes into the game, Kristian Norberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Baybars Urangu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 45 minutes into the match, Kristian Norberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Baybars Urangu, 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Melih Cevdet Tuğaltan to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gencer Şensal got free with Raşit Veziroğlu in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. AYYILDIZ SK's Raşit Veziroğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melih Cevdet Tuğaltan in the 53rd minute of play. Kristian Norberg hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Raşit Veziroğlu was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Göktürk Ülmen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Göktürk Ülmen really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Baybars Urangu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristian Norberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. AYYILDIZ SK's Kristian Norberg got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kristian Norberg took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baybars Urangu. Baybars Urangu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Orhan Yıldırımtürk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baybars Urangu having to make a save. Kristian Norberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raşit Veziroğlu made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Gencer Şensal sent off a good shot on target. When Orhan Yıldırımtürk came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the AYYILDIZ SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orhan Yıldırımtürk couldn't finish the play. Sertel Özyuva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sertel Özyuva in the 89th minute of play forced Merzifon's goalkeeper Baybars Urangu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Merzifon's Baybars Urangu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristian Norberg in the 91st minute of play. Sertel Özyuva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baybars Urangu having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, Göktürk Ülmen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Merzifon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AYYILDIZ SK the free kick. When the referee ended the match the AYYILDIZ SK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
