After 14 minutes, Albano Depsch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pertevniyal and the Güzelyali SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 14 played minutes Pertevniyal got a freekick which was hit by Albano Depsch. When Enrico Iacovone came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Pertevniyal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrico Iacovone couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrico Iacovone in the 19th minute of play forced Güzelyali SK's goalkeeper Uğurcan Rafih to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dinçer Şiraz hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Zafer Tavil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orçun Pekol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zafer Tavil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doğaner Şirvan in the 67th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doğaner Şirvan couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Güzelyali SK getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Erkin Çağman hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Jörn Offendahl could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Uğurcan Rafih however easily saved by the left post. The audience was convinced that Enrico Iacovone's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Uğurcan Rafih was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Pertevniyal's Zafer Tavil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orçun Pekol in the 86th minute of play. When the match was over Pertevniyal could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Güzelyali SK throughout the match.
