Mücahit Çağman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muhammet Ak in the 7th minute of play. Song Wei Xi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Hakkı Devrim Ünsev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Muhammet Ak in the 12th minute of play forced Güney Kore FC's goalkeeper Mücahit Çağman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th match minute, Güney Kore FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tuncer Demirezen to maneuver through the defense. Catak's Hakkı Devrim Ünsev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bayındır Mehmet Ötüken in the 18th minute of play. After 20 minutes, Ahmet Refik Sehriyar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Catak and the Güney Kore FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Güney Kore FC booed when Catak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Refik Sehriyar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mücahit Çağman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sezgin Egelioğlu in the 27th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Song Wei Xi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Güney Kore FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Song Wei Xi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hakkı Devrim Ünsev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Selim Sökmensu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Mücahit Çağman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Metin İlkan during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Song Wei Xi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hakkı Devrim Ünsev having to interfere. After some careless play in the Güney Kore FC defense, Sezgin Egelioğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mücahit Çağman. The Güney Kore FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mücahit Çağman should have stopped the shot. After 47 minutes of play, Güney Kore FC's Song Wei Xi made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hakkı Devrim Ünsev was left in no man's land by his defense there! The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Song Wei Xi made a kick off. Mücahit Çağman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Muhammet Ak, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Mücahit Çağman made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Sezgin Egelioğlu sent off a good shot on target. Sezgin Egelioğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Mücahit Çağman made a huge save. Song Wei Xi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hakkı Devrim Ünsev having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Güney Kore FC's Tuncer Demirezen got a free kick in the 71st minute. Mücahit Çağman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muhammet Ak in the 73rd minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Catak's goal looked a bit too open when Song Wei Xi came free, but Hakkı Devrim Ünsev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Muhammet Ak took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Mücahit Çağman to make any attempt to save it. Mücahit Çağman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mustafa Hamit Seccac in the 83rd minute. Song Wei Xi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hakkı Devrim Ünsev having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fehmi Oktar in the 86th minute of play forced Catak's goalkeeper Hakkı Devrim Ünsev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Catak's Muhammet Ak slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mücahit Çağman. That made the score 1-3 after 88 minutes of play. When Song Wei Xi came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Güney Kore FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Song Wei Xi couldn't finish the play. Bayındır Mehmet Ötüken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hakkı Devrim Ünsev having to interfere. If Selim Sökmensu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Catak walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
