In the 5th minute, Ahmet Ozan Neba ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bass Sutens was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Bass Sutens made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Babür Peşrev sent off a good shot on target. After 11 minutes of play, Sivasspor jk's Mehmet Bilge İleri made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emrah Yalkı was left in no man's land by his defense there! Oğuzalp Barkan kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. If Kutlualp Başkurt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Bilge İleri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emrah Yalkı having to interfere. Kutlualp Başkurt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emrah Yalkı having to make a save. After some careless play in the Arifbey spor defense, Kutlualp Başkurt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emrah Yalkı. The Arifbey spor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emrah Yalkı should have stopped the shot. If Mehmet Bilge İleri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sivasspor jk's Kutlualp Başkurt in 40 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Emrah Yalkı guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Kutlualp Başkurt made the kick off in the second half. If Ali Behzat Serdengeçti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Sivasspor jk defense, Poyraz Başel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bass Sutens. The Sivasspor jk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bass Sutens should have stopped the shot. Sivasspor jk's Mehmet Bilge İleri got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 70 minutes into the game, Mehmet Bilge İleri recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emrah Yalkı. Mehmet Bilge İleri showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. In the 78th minute Ahmet Ozan Neba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bass Sutens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emrah Yalkı came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sivasspor jk's Mehmet Bilge İleri. But to his dismay, Mehmet Bilge İleri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-5. Sivasspor jk were furious when Münir Ersevim was red carded, 88 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee gave Arifbey spor a penalty, 91 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Emre Polathan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sivasspor jk's Bass Sutens. 4-5. In the 97th minute, Kutlualp Başkurt fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Emrah Yalkı, passed just outside the right post. When the final whistle sounded Sivasspor jk left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Arifbey spor.
