After 3 played minutes Evren SK got a freekick which was hit by Ali Numan Metiner. Tan Erdurmus was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Arın Toycan. Tan Erdurmus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erkut Yaltır in the 7th minute of play. Reşat Abdulhakimoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özgün Civanbaht in the 8th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Özgün Civanbaht in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reşat Abdulhakimoğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Behçet Orkutay fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karlıova Futbol Kulübü's protests and gave Behçet Orkutay a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th minute, Behçet Orkutay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the match, Karlıova Futbol Kulübü's goal looked a bit too open when Birsel Canfer came free, but Reşat Abdulhakimoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute Birsel Canfer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reşat Abdulhakimoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reşat Abdulhakimoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özgün Civanbaht in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Birsel Canfer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reşat Abdulhakimoğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ceyhan Özsu kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. With 23 minutes on the clock, Türkeş Taha commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Evren SK's Türkeş Taha got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Tan Erdurmus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arın Toycan in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute Ahmet Reha Öksak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reşat Abdulhakimoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Evren SK booed when Karlıova Futbol Kulübü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Behçet Orkutay didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th match minute, Karlıova Futbol Kulübü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ceyhan Özsu to maneuver through the defense. After 33 minutes, Anıl Berk Gümüşcü mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karlıova Futbol Kulübü and the Evren SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Birsel Canfer in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reşat Abdulhakimoğlu saved Karlıova Futbol Kulübü from getting behind. Ali Numan Metiner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reşat Abdulhakimoğlu having to interfere. Tan Erdurmus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anıl Berk Gümüşcü in the 43rd minute. After the first half Evren SK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Birsel Canfer to make the kick off. Karlıova Futbol Kulübü's Behçet Orkutay quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ahmet Reha Öksak, made in the 52nd minute of the game. Tan Erdurmus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erkut Yaltır in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute Ceyhan Özsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tan Erdurmus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Evren SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ceyhan Özsu came free, but Tan Erdurmus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erkut Yaltır in the 62nd minute of play forced Evren SK's goalkeeper Tan Erdurmus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 63 played minutes Evren SK got a freekick which was hit by Ali Numan Metiner. Birsel Canfer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Reşat Abdulhakimoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by Birsel Canfer got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Tan Erdurmus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erkut Yaltır, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tan Erdurmus came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Karlıova Futbol Kulübü's Ceyhan Özsu. But to his dismay, Ceyhan Özsu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 84th minute Ceyhan Özsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tan Erdurmus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Karlıova Futbol Kulübü's zone, Birsel Canfer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reşat Abdulhakimoğlu came out of the goal and Birsel Canfer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Birsel Canfer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Reşat Abdulhakimoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evren SK's Tan Erdurmus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceyhan Özsu in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute Erkut Yaltır shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tan Erdurmus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Evren SK players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Karlıova Futbol Kulübü from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
