Spectators: 6100 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ömer Kaymaz started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sultanahmet SK's goalkeeper Gökalp Eskioğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 6 minutes into the match, Sultanahmet SK's goal looked a bit too open when Besim Lütfi came free, but Gökalp Eskioğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ömer Kaymaz had several of the FC Leylekspor's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 12 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Aşır Ergümen as he didn't even see the shot coming. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rıfkı Neşat during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 21 played minutes Sultanahmet SK got a freekick which was hit by Hakkı Nuratay. Gökalp Eskioğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferhan Hanönü, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sultanahmet SK! The referee gave FC Leylekspor a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Necat Nedim, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sultanahmet SK's Gökalp Eskioğlu. 2-1. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ferhan Hanönü was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferhan Hanönü in the 56th minute of play forced Sultanahmet SK's goalkeeper Gökalp Eskioğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FC Leylekspor getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Besim Lütfi hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the match, Sultanahmet SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ferhan Hanönü came free, but Gökalp Eskioğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Güral Kutsel hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After having played for 75 minutes, Güral Kutsel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sultanahmet SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Güral Kutsel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th minute, Ömer Kaymaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Sultanahmet SK's goalkeeper Gökalp Eskioğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by İnanç İlican. Sultanahmet SK's Gökalp Eskioğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferhan Hanönü in the 86th minute of play. Hakkı Nuratay hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Ferhan Hanönü sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sultanahmet SK had played much better football throughout.
