Saadettin Oytun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Şafak Çiltay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Altan Mengüç fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Feri Futbol's protests and gave Altan Mengüç a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute, one of Feri Futbol:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Feri Futbol. Tuna Yurtsever had in the 11thth minute some difficulties stopping Serbülent Serhan's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Şener Bilkan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tuna Yurtsever. Feri Futbol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Şener Bilkan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Şafak Çiltay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saadettin Oytun, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Mehmet Oğuz Özkutal took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Şafak Çiltay. Şafak Çiltay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Saadettin Oytun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şafak Çiltay having to interfere. Utku Murathan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Şafak Çiltay having to make a save. If Saadettin Oytun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saadettin Oytun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute Saadettin Oytun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şafak Çiltay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ENGINEERS's Şafak Çiltay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saadettin Oytun in the 47th minute of play. When Utku Murathan came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Feri Futbol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Utku Murathan couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saadettin Oytun made a kick off. After 52 minutes, Caner Paşa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ENGINEERS and the Feri Futbol players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd minute, Caner Paşa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Şener Bilkan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tuna Yurtsever read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute Utku Murathan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şafak Çiltay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Şener Bilkan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tuna Yurtsever. Feri Futbol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Şener Bilkan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Saadettin Oytun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Feri Futbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Saadettin Oytun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şafak Çiltay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tuna Yurtsever made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şener Bilkan in the 66th minute of play. Ege Hacıfettahoğlu hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Şener Bilkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tuna Yurtsever having to interfere. With a little luck, ENGINEERS's Şafak Çiltay got control of the ball when Saadettin Oytun tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Şener Bilkan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Feri Futbol getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Ahmet İlke Tokkan hit a great ball.
