After a long run with the ball, Melih Cevdet Çalapover did a trick in the 18th minute in front of Turhal's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 1-0. An impressive performance by DAL FK's Melih Cevdet Çalapover! After a rather tough play, Turhal's Şeref Taşdan got a free kick in the 25th minute. Yavuzalp Tüzmen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aybar Sezen in the 27th minute of the match. Karhan Niğdeli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Aybar Sezen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Karhan Niğdeli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd minute, Turhal's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aybar Sezen fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Aybar Sezen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yavuzalp Tüzmen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karhan Niğdeli's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olcay Baysal was the one to do the kick off. DAL FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Aybar Sezen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yavuzalp Tüzmen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56th match minute, Turhal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nihat Okutan to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Turhal's zone, Melih Cevdet Çalapover stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yavuzalp Tüzmen came out of the goal and Melih Cevdet Çalapover tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute, Olcay Baysal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yavuzalp Tüzmen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karhan Niğdeli, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After having played for 66 minutes, Ahmet Ceyhan Gümüşcü managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DAL FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Ceyhan Gümüşcü was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aybar Sezen struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Yavuzalp Tüzmen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DAL FK. After having played for 72 minutes, Karhan Niğdeli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DAL FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karhan Niğdeli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute Melih Cevdet Çalapover shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yavuzalp Tüzmen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was a well-played corner which Ahmet Ceyhan Gümüşcü managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After a defensive mix-up in Turhal's zone, Karhan Niğdeli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yavuzalp Tüzmen came out of the goal and Karhan Niğdeli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute, Korkut Özgurel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Melih Cevdet Çalapover came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the DAL FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melih Cevdet Çalapover couldn't finish the play. DAL FK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
