The supporters of Gerze FK booed when Tosya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eyüp Sadullah didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Gerze FK's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Çağrı Canaydin came free, but Hıdır Boysan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kunter Müfit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vatan Paye kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. A collision led to Tosya getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Kerimhan Çelik hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Celil Akcebe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gerze FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Celil Akcebe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulvi Orhon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Behlül Evvel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eyüp Sadullah kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Kunter Müfit hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. During the 39th minute of the match Eyüp Sadullah completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Eyüp Sadullah a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Hıdır Boysan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Behlül Evvel went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After the first half Tosya were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a rather tough play, Gerze FK's Teoman Yücel got a free kick in the 51st minute. Celil Akcebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ulvi Orhon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulvi Orhon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celil Akcebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the game, Şükrü Vaha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. One of Tosya:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gerze FK:s goal. In the 74th minute, Kunter Müfit ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ulvi Orhon was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Celil Akcebe, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 80 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ulvi Orhon was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Ahmet Gökalp Mümin kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. The supporters of Gerze FK booed when Tosya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aykutalp Refi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Behlül Evvel could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Hıdır Boysan however easily saved by the left post. When Kunter Müfit came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Gerze FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kunter Müfit couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tosya's goalkeeper Ulvi Orhon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kunter Müfit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulvi Orhon having to interfere. 97 minutes in the game, Behlül Evvel fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Hıdır Boysan having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
