The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kunter Müfit took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tahir Bayezit. Tahir Bayezit dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Atalay Nihat managed to get in a good position for a shot. YILDIZ FOOTBALL CLUB's supporters rose to their feet, but Atalay Nihat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hıdır Boysan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gerze FK's Hıdır Boysan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Gerze FK from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Numan Onuk in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hıdır Boysan saved Gerze FK from getting behind. 38 minutes into the match, YILDIZ FOOTBALL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Kunter Müfit came free, but Tahir Bayezit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, YILDIZ FOOTBALL CLUB's Bülent Akşin got a free kick in the 39th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celil Akcebe was the one to do the kick off. Gerze FK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
