Erhan Nuh started the match with the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Gerze FK's Celil Akcebe slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hasan Tolgahan. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. After 11 played minutes Gerze FK got a freekick which was hit by Kunter Müfit. 17 minutes into the match, Gerze FK's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Hamza Ergintuğ came free, but Hıdır Boysan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of EzERiM booed when Gerze FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çeliker Kaçkar didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Gerze FK getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Alpertunga Emrettin hit a great ball. EzERiM's Ali Hamza Ergintuğ got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celil Akcebe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hasan Tolgahan came out and tried to block the shot, but Celil Akcebe slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 41st minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celil Akcebe was the one to do the kick off. If Ali Hamza Ergintuğ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the match, Gerze FK's goal looked a bit too open when Erhan Nuh came free, but Hıdır Boysan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hasan Tolgahan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kunter Müfit in the 70th minute of the match. From a short distance, EzERiM's Erhan Nuh, in the 76th minute, tried to place the ball behind Hıdır Boysan, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. A collision led to EzERiM getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Rüstem Memduh hit a great ball. Erhan Nuh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hıdır Boysan having to interfere. If Ali Hamza Ergintuğ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Celil Akcebe struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Hasan Tolgahan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gerze FK. After a defensive mix-up in Gerze FK's zone, Erhan Nuh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hıdır Boysan came out of the goal and Erhan Nuh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Gerze FK getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Çeliker Kaçkar hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Teoman Yücel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Hamza Ergintuğ got free with Hıdır Boysan in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew the final whistle, Gerze FK could leave the field as winners, despite EzERiM having more of the ball for most of the match.
