Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arif Nihat Ciray started the match with the kick off. A collision led to YILDIZ FOOTBALL CLUB getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Samim Zafer hit a great ball. Kapalicarsi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ahmet Hamdi Tekmil in the 6th minute. Tahir Bayezit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arif Nihat Ciray, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Tahir Bayezit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Okaner Nusret in the 15th minute of the match. Numan Onuk might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Muzaffer Kadirsah. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Numan Onuk ran back to his position shaking his head. Kapalicarsi's Muzaffer Kadirsah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Numan Onuk in the 18th minute of play. Numan Onuk struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Muzaffer Kadirsah didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for YILDIZ FOOTBALL CLUB. Samim Zafer hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After 30 played minutes, Kapalicarsi's Ahmet Hamdi Tekmil shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tahir Bayezit came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kapalicarsi reached it. Okaner Nusret recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Okaner Nusret came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Kapalicarsi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Okaner Nusret couldn't finish the play. Orhan Şükrü hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. YILDIZ FOOTBALL CLUB's Numan Onuk got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Numan Onuk to strike the kick off in the second half. Samim Zafer kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Arif Nihat Ciray could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Tahir Bayezit made a huge save. YILDIZ FOOTBALL CLUB's Tahir Bayezit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Okaner Nusret in the 58th minute of play. After 65 minutes, Orhan Şükrü mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kapalicarsi and the YILDIZ FOOTBALL CLUB players grew even worse after the yellow card. YILDIZ FOOTBALL CLUB's Numan Onuk got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tahir Bayezit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Okaner Nusret, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, YILDIZ FOOTBALL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Nihat Ciray came free, but Tahir Bayezit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tahir Bayezit made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arif Nihat Ciray in the 74th minute. After 75 minutes, Bülent Akşin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the YILDIZ FOOTBALL CLUB and the Kapalicarsi players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Kapalicarsi booed when YILDIZ FOOTBALL CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bülent Akşin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, YILDIZ FOOTBALL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Okaner Nusret came free, but Tahir Bayezit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tahir Bayezit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Nihat Ciray in the 81st minute of play. After 88 minutes of play, YILDIZ FOOTBALL CLUB's Numan Onuk made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Muzaffer Kadirsah was left in no man's land by his defense there! YILDIZ FOOTBALL CLUB's Tahir Bayezit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Okaner Nusret in the 93rd minute of play. Tahir Bayezit came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Kapalicarsi's Okaner Nusret. But to his dismay, Okaner Nusret quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Kapalicarsi's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
