Spectators: 7542 (Terracing: 5658, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Keramettin Kaplan started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orbay Kartal got free with Hıdır Mengübay in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hıdır Mengübay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keramettin Kaplan in the 7th minute of the match. Radoslaw Kuszczak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arif Başeğmez, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Kadri Başoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arif Başeğmez scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Radoslaw Kuszczak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Lütfi Tankut managed to get in a good position for a shot. Menekse's supporters rose to their feet, but Lütfi Tankut was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radoslaw Kuszczak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 18 minutes, Arda Baybars Canıtez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Menekse and the SOSGERT SPOR players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Menekse's Arda Baybars Canıtez got a free kick in the 19th minute. Orbay Kartal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Keramettin Kaplan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Hıdır Mengübay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orbay Kartal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hıdır Mengübay having to interfere. Lütfi Tankut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Radoslaw Kuszczak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arif Başeğmez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hıdır Mengübay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kadri Başoğlu in the 39th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arif Başeğmez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Keramettin Kaplan in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hıdır Mengübay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kadri Başoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hıdır Mengübay having to interfere. Radoslaw Kuszczak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arif Başeğmez in the 71st minute of the match. After 74 played minutes SOSGERT SPOR got a freekick which was hit by Ulaş Arıtan. Menekse's Hıdır Mengübay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keramettin Kaplan in the 76th minute of play. In the 88th minute Mehmet Çağrı Altunışık shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hıdır Mengübay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Menekse getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Sezen Cezri hit a great ball. In the 92ndth minute of the game Keramettin Kaplan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Menekse's Hıdır Mengübay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Davut Zeyrek fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Menekse's protests and gave Davut Zeyrek a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd match minute, Menekse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davut Zeyrek to maneuver through the defense. Kadri Başoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Hıdır Mengübay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
