Hıdır Mengübay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Menekse's Hıdır Mengübay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karahan Mutluer in the 8th minute of play. The aYaNcIkSpOr fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when aYaNcIkSpOr's Karahan Mutluer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. aYaNcIkSpOr's Ekrem Urangu got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karahan Mutluer in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hıdır Mengübay saved Menekse from getting behind. In the 13thth minute of the game Karahan Mutluer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Menekse's Hıdır Mengübay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 17th minute, Ekrem Urangu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Karahan Mutluer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hıdır Mengübay was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. After 20 minutes, Davut Zeyrek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Menekse and the aYaNcIkSpOr players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karahan Mutluer to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, aYaNcIkSpOr's Karahan Mutluer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hıdır Mengübay. Hıdır Mengübay yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Vahap Timuroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arif Başeğmez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute Ferman Haspolatlı collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. Arda Baybars Canıtez charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arda Baybars Canıtez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. aYaNcIkSpOr's Güven Civanmert was substituted for Ferman Haspolatlı. The supporters of aYaNcIkSpOr booed when Menekse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arda Baybars Canıtez didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Karahan Mutluer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hıdır Mengübay was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. After 89 minutes, Güven Civanmert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the aYaNcIkSpOr and the Menekse players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th minute, Güven Civanmert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vahap Timuroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arda Baybars Canıtez in the 94th minute of play. aYaNcIkSpOr's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
